Exploring the AONB
This section provides details on things to do in the AONB, how to get around the area and some "green" places to stay. This information should be of interest both to visitors and those who live in and around the area.
Please note, this section does not provide a complete list of tourist attractions and is not intended to be a substitute for the Tourist Information Centre. The aim of the AONB Partnership is to enable people to enjoy the area and to learn about its special qualities in a manner which causes minimal environmental impact. This section of the website reflects this aspiration by only providing information on:
- Selected walks (especially those which start from public transport points)
- Cycle rides
- Bus and train services
- Accommodation providers who respect the environment and make a contribution to its conservation
