Management Plan
![]() |
Under the Countryside and Rights of Way Act (2000), or CRoW, relevant local authorities have a legal duty to produce an AONB Management Plan every 5 years. Once produced, the Plan should formulate local authority policy in relation to the management of the area.
However, the management plan is much more than just a document for local authorities. In the case of the Malvern Hills AONB, the management plan incorporates the views of residents as well as those of a wide range of public, private and voluntary bodies. Overall, the Malvern Hills AONB Management Plan is the key document through which the AONB Partnership expresses its aspirations for maintaining and enhancing the special character of the area. Please go to the links below to either download the complete management plan, or to download summary sheets of your particular area of interest.
